The Sandanona sporting club is the nation’s oldest private shooting sports club. Located in New York, about an hour north of the city, it features not only a fabulous sporting clays course, but fly fishing, dog training seminars, shooting instruction, and much more.
The club was purchased a few years ago by Orvis, which has infused new life and resources into the club. Among the most recent upgrades to the facility is a Cowboy Cauldron, which will be featured prominently near the clubhouse to keep its clientele warm and toasty during the colder months of the year.
